UTM Grid Tool The
Grid
Tool allows you to subdivide the map grid into tenths to accurately relay your
UTM grid position on a map. On a 1:24,000 USGS topographic map, the map
grid is a 1000 meter square. The Grid Tool will allow you to quickly determine a
100 meter square. This easy to use grid tool divides a 1 kilometer grid
square into 100 meter squares. Align the tool on the map grid and read off the
easting and northing values. This tool also features a compass rose along the
outside edge. This makes plotting or measuring a bearing a snap. The small size
of these tools will allow you to keep them handy in your pocket. Printed on 30
mil plastic stock the tools are about the thickness of a credit card. The ink is
coated to protect it from abrasion. Size 2.75” x 2.75”
