Randall's Adventure and Training (RAT) is the recognized leader in Latin American jungle exploration and survival training. As a professional survival training team based in the United States, RAT has led numerous expeditions and jungle survival training classes in the Amazon jungles of Peru, as well as teaching travel survival to numerous clients. Since our beginnings in 1997, our clientele has ranged from military and law enforcement teams, to film crews and professional adventurers. This is how we got into the knife business - always searching for a better mission-specific product by testing our own ideas and listening to the soldiers and law enforcement officers in the field.

Due to our experience overseas and in the wilds, RAT now offers compact survival kits and tools designed  for those who travel to dangerous places.  These are the same items that we trust and rely on for our survival training classes and travel overseas. We have also developed our own courses of study, reviewed many pieces of gear and written numerous articles on survival related issues. Our overseas travel survival article (below) is being used by Immigrations agents as a reminder and training tool for new agents who have to travel overseas. In addition, we have received numerous emails thanking us for our survival tips sheet. Currently, a copy of this sheet is in vehicles, boats and wallets nationwide. Feel free to use and distribute any information found on this page. We suggest printing on waterproof / tear proof paper.
